Youth Empowerment Project

YEP engages underserved young people through community-based education, mentoring, enrichment, and employment readiness programs to help them develop skills and strengthen ties to family and community.  Since its inception in 2004, the Youth Empowerment Project
[ https://www.youthempowermentproject.org/ ] (YEP) has grown into one of the most comprehensive nonprofit organizations in Greater New Orleans providing services to young people. We now reach nearly 1,000 individuals across 13 parishes annually and operate out of five sites offering four impactful programs, all free to participants.
