Michael "Scotty" Scott is the designer of the seminal air combat game MIG Killers, the science fiction RPG Star Patrol, and more recently In Harm's Way: Wild Blue as well as many others.
Scotty is an accomplished area gamemaster and one of the best GMs around at introducing new gamers of any age to roleplaying. He is one of the founders of CoastCon, and created "Herbie," the CoastCon mascot. (Hint: Herbie is lurking in any copies of Star Patrol you happen to have.) He's currently helping out CONtraflow as Assistant Head of Gaming as well as running the Fan History Project.
